This week for You Capture Beth asked us to go outside. So I did. Both during the day and at night.

This week Beth at I Should Be Folding Laundry asked us to picture America (or our own country). I would have loved to have spent this summer in America like I have the previous two summers, but becoming an aunt for the very first time kinda trumped that this summer. So instead of celebrating America (which we did with hoagies and hamburgers) I am celebrating Sweden.
Wild strawberries for me conjure up summers with my grandparents when we would pick these sweet smelling, sweet tasting berries at the side of the road. You string them up on a piece of grass like this…
Being able to stop at the side of the road and pick berries (or mushrooms…more on that in the future) without having to worry about pollution or whose land it is, that is Sweden to me.
Oh and I did become an aunt yesterday morning to a little girl. More on her later too :D

This week Beth gave us a choice of what to capture. The choices were: Hands, Green and Chairs. I really wanted to do hands. I had a pair of very specific hands in mind. Tiny little hands. Brand spanking new hands. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you count) those hands are still spending their time poking my sister in her kidneys, bladder and other assorted organs. Cheeky little bugger wanted some more time inside, and since he or she isn’t actually due until next week I can’t really fault him/her. So instead you get a picture of the green walls in their bedroom.
There is however PLENTY of green to go around around here.
These berries will become pie one day very soon. Mmmm…pie
And these will become savoury jelly to go with meat.
And then we have flowers (or flowers to be)

Each week Beth from I Should Be Folding Laundry asks us to share our pictures on a particular theme. This weeks theme is “Get Down Low”.
Pointing the camera up into the plum tree, capturing the sun.
Underneath the willow tree. I LOVE the colour in this picture

You Capture is a weekly meme hosted by Beth over at I Should Be Folding Laundry. Each week she asks us to capture something with our camera. This week the assignment is water.
Two of the pictures are from a weekend trip up north. It is actually the ocean and boy did I wish you could capture scent with your camera. There was a heady mixture of Queen Anne’s Lace, Lilies of the Valley, Buttercups and the ocean.
The last one is my mother watering our herbs outside. I love the water against the rocks.

You Capture is a weekly meme hosted by Beth over at I Should Be Folding Laundry. Each week she asks us to capture something with our camera. This week the assignment is sky.
My pictures almost all come from a visit to Stockholm. Two really warm days with beautiful skies. The last picture is of the moon over my house. The moon and I have a special relationship.
I love the floating seagull in this picture with the backdrop of the clouds.
This picture of the sun with the one ray of light is so amazing.
Whispy clouds

You Capture is a weekly meme hosted by Beth at I Should Be Folding Laundry. Each week she asks us to capture something with our camera. This week we are doing Spring again. And since I love spring I have no problem with this :D
Flowers in a milk pail at the neighbours
I do so love it when the bees and butterflies come out
I love the sky blue colour of these flowers. They are everywhere this time of year.

You Capture is a weekly meme hosted by Beth at I Should Be Folding Laundry. Each week she asks us to capture something with our camera. I haven’t played in quite some time partially because I couldn’t find the chord for my camera and partially because I felt thoroughly uninspired due to life circumstances. But this week the theme is spring and since spring is finally coming to this part of the world I did feel very inspired. So here goes.
The yellow colour of these crocus just cheer me up!
